Optimize Round 1

Over the remainder of my engagement with that organization my time was dedicated to enabling the users, and optimizing the systems and processes the business leveraged to drive revenue.

Enablement was achieved first by auditing the existing processes and meeting the users where they were. After a comprehensive understanding of current state, I created new processes by adjusting existing processes for efficiency gains or designing entire processes within the users system of action (Salesforce and SalesLoft).

Optimization took place during the enablement exercise, additionally, I conducted a comprehensive audit of automations created within the system. I was able to decrease system load and improve operating speed by consolidating 90+ workflow rules to Process Builder and Flow. Lighter faster solutions for the organization, with more comprehensive functionality than the point and click solutions that were previously in place.

Finally, I optimized our technology budget by negotiating, right sizing, and deprecating redundant or duplicative software, and services resulting in a savings of 31% of the originally budgeted technology spend for the department.

The organization was acquired and my journey continued with the acquiring company.
