Optimize Round 2
During and after delivering on these projects I was able to take on other responsibilities, including reporting, maintaining, and enforcing decisions for the North American team’s financial statements. This gave me a great deal of insight in to how an organization makes financial and operational decisions based on the ~$250 million+ revenue projected, against cost of goods sold, and expenses. I was able to take a global view of the expenses for vendor relationships I was tasked with and enjoyed finding opportunities to reduce or optimize expenses.
Additionally through this exposure I was able to insert myself cross functionally to aid in the development of new go to market strategies for a new product offering, projected to bring in an additional $50 million in revenue.
I also was able to participate in conversations around road mapping for feature improvements, and aid in the audit and subsequent projects to improve delivery efficiency, by creating a better and more comprehensive hand off from sales.
This grew into a larger project migrating the entire org from sales lead growth to product lead growth. A unique opportunity for me move the needle on that project and see its impacts opened doors for new opportunities on new horizons.
After all the improvement, maintenance and optimization, I was able to grow into new opportunities.
